Getting Ready For The Fall 2025 Big Deal Week

Target Circle Week: October 5 – 11

How to get ready for Target Circle Week:

1. Join Target Circle – This is Target’s free loyalty program, and you must be a Target Circle member to take advantage of the deals during Target Circle week.
2. Get College Student Verified – You’ll need to prove you’re a college student with a schedule, a tuition bill or other methods listed on the Target site in order to take advantage the annual 20% off coupon that is typically available each summer, deals all year long exclusively for college students and discounts on Target Circle 360 membership.
3. Once you are verified, consider joining Target Circle 360 for 50% off. We love this program for sending same-day groceries, OTC meds and toiletries to our college students, and I use it at home all the time. Bonus: Target Circle 360 members will have 1 day of early access to October’s Target Circle Week (October 4) before the event is open to all Target Circle members on October 5.

Amazon Big Deal Days: October 7 and 8

How to get ready for Amazon Prime Days:

1. Join Amazon Prime – Most of the deals available during this event will be for Prime Members only.
   • Join Prime now
   • Since you’re probably a young adult student or the parent of one, you can join Prime Young Adult and get 6 months free and then continue at 50% off the regular Prime rates.
2. Save To Lists, Not Cart. This is Amazon’s advice. I do think they do a better job of notifying you when something in your wish list goes on sale than something in your cart, but I also think they don’t want things in your cart because that may slow you from buying something else if you’re not ready to buy all the things in your cart.
   • How to add a product to an Amazon list? Look for Add to List under the Buy Now button. You can click + Create a List and start a new list for college.

Walmart Deals Week: October 7 – 12

Walmart Deals week will start online at 12am ET on October 7, and in stores at local opening times, and will run through Sunday, October 12.
